The screens look a little blurry but don't forget they're only concepts not finished art. The game will be in classic 320x200 resolution. (They're also blurry because I enlarged them and then JPG'd them to save space...)
The mock-up below is what I sent Tino as a guide for the first screen! I bet you feel sorry for him now, don't you? Seriously, it does make sense when seen in context alongside my notes on the level design. Well, sort of.
